The musical entertainment features a lineup worthy of The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Headlining will be Atlanta group The Constellations, playing crowd favorites along with tunes from their recent release Southern Gothic. Also appearing throughout the festival will be New Orleans rockers The Squirrelheads and the Mike Veal Band; blues specialists French Quarter Funk; and the R&B sounds of the Larry Griffith Band. And since it’s not Mardi Gras without a little rowdiness, ‘pit stomp mariachi’ band Grinder Nova and ‘Atlanta’s wildest community band’ The Seed & Feed Marching Abominable will both be on hand as well. Finally, local favorites My Homework Ate My Dog, a crowd favorite from last year’s Festival, will make a return appearance. As far as food and drink, name a New Orleans favorite and it will be available. Jambalaya, boiled crawfish, muffalettas, and beans & rice are just a few of the offerings being cooked up by the Front Page News kitchen. Behind the bar we’ll be serving $5 Bacardi Hurricanes and $4 Abita beer on draft.
