An evening with Todd Wells and Big D and the Refugees
Dwight wrote hit songs “Angel” and “Off the Ground” and the trio quickly recorded them with Brian Collins at Bluelight Studios in Douglasville, GA. It was a lot like Abbey Road Studios. To the best of the band’s knowledge, not one of the lights in the studio was blue. Big D and the Refugees can be found touring throughout the world, while focusing their efforts somewhat on the Southeastern US and even more focused on the Metro Atlanta area.
Todd Wells has arrived. Hailing from the musical city of Atlanta, this up and coming singer/songwriter is in it for the long haul, as is evidenced by his new album Lullaby for the Lonely: A collection of country-tinged, introspective, emotional rock 'n' roll tunes that reflect his tumultuous upbringing and his belief in music as a comforting and healing entity - and love as the driving force.
