Jen Kelley - www.theactingcamp.com
co-Founder/Casting Director
After moving to LA in 1991, Jen found her niche working as a talent agent in the Youth division of TGI/Bloom, where she helped to launch the careers of Michelle Williams, Brandi Norwood and Erika Christenson. After five years, four mudslides, two earthquakes and one riot, Jen left the City of Angels and moved to Atlanta, Georgia. There she discovered the sublime joy of grits and pimento cheese, while resuming her life as a talent agent at The People Store. Jen worked in all departments during her 14 years there, eventually becoming the department head of the commercial and industrial divisions. She left The People Store October 1, 2011 to form Big Picture Casting, Inc. with Rita Harrell. Jen is also a co-founder and the Artistic Director of Sketchworks Theatre. There she writes, directs, produces and acts in various sketch comedy shows throughout the year. She has also co-written "The Actor’s Guide for Kids," a successful actor’s handbook published by Illustrata.
Lisa Rosemond – www.jansmith.com
As one of the instructors at Jan Smith Studios, Lisa is a part of Atlanta's #1 vocal studio. Though she teaches all ages, Lisa loves working specifically with children and teenagers. She wants to help people follow their dreams of becoming good singers, and wants to help prevent her student from ‘falling into the same rut’ that she did. Combining classical training with extensive knowledge of contemporary styles, Lisa is able to bring her love of music to all of her students and help them achieve their personal best. Since joining the staff of Jan Smith Studios in 2003, Lisa has worked with many different performers, including Nia Imani (young Nala in “The Lion King” on Broadway), Blake Michael (“Charlie” in Disney’s “Lemonade Mouth”), and up and coming rapper/singer, MattyB.
