Tedo Stone - I picture Tedo Stone's songs walking around looking for a field party at the center of a big city. They're concerned with time & the way it impacts our sense of right & wrong - especially when what seems right might be wrong & vice-versa. They're concerned with how the past cannot simply disappear. His lyrics are personal yet not sentimental, poetic yet simple & memorable, introspective yet ambitious. & His guitar riffs won't let you not pay attention to them, like children asking questions that are too smart for you to answer. Stone can go just as psychedelic as he can pop, & just as soulful as he can retrospective rock&roll. When he belts into the crescendos, we realize there is no such thing as empty space. It's always filled with something.

Stone thought he might quit making music, but he realized music would not quit making him. Now his band's working on a record with Drew Vandenburg in Athens, planning to drop in 2015.
