LAUGHLIN is a new country duo on the rise out of Athens, Georgia. Members Allison and Zach met at the University of Georgia and have been playing together for three years. They first began performing publicly in 2011. The two have a number of musical influences, including voices like Steel Magnolia, Sugarland, Miranda Lambert, Chris Young, and Lady Antebellum. This acoustic act likes to keep things simple with one guitar that highlights their tight harmonies. While LAUGHLIN performs mainly covers, they have also been successful at original songwriting including the songs “Outta Here” and “Lost.” Though they started out as an opening act, this duo has begun to hold their own at bigger venues throughout the state of Georgia and hope to continue moving on to even larger audiences.
