Each year, SocialHeart nominates 20 Kansas City professionals to represent a date package ranging from dinner for two at a local restaurant to a plane ride for a bird’s eye view of downtown. All date packages are coordinated by the date auction candidate and donated to the event. Guests of the event live bid on each candidate’s date package that night. This a very high-energy event that brings in around 300 guests each year!

• The Venue: The 2015 Date Auction will be held on the outdoor Liberty Memorial Observation Deck at the National World War I Museum, offering spectacular panoramic views of Kansas City’s downtown skyline. The 217-foot Liberty Memorial Tower provides the perfect centerpiece for this year’s event and will feature tours to the top!
• The Benefiting Charity: All proceeds raised at the 2015 Date Auction will benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Kansas City.
• The Presenting Sponsor: The 2015 Date Auction presenting sponsor is Shane Co., the largest privately owned jeweler in the United States. Our Bronze Sponsor is Citi Bank. Thanks to our sponsors!
• The Entertainment: A 3-piece jazz band, The Kansas City Lights, sponsored by Adam Blue Productions will entertain for our happy hour and then DJ Ashton Martin will emcee and entertain for the event and evening closing dance party.

VIP tickets will include a private viewing / bidding area and will feature a private bartender and rides to the top of the Liberty Memorial viewing tower.
